After more than a year of intense preparation and trial operation, on August 31, 2023, with the Zhejiang Winhitech New Energy Co., Ltd. 12GW high-efficiency heterojunction solar cell and module production equipment application demonstration project fully into operation, Winhitech unveiling ceremony was launched in Zhoushan, Zhejiang. Zhoushan Municipal Committee Standing Committee, Vice Mayor Han Jun, Winhitech Chairman Zeng Qingzhi and shareholders, industry partners, supply chain upstream and downstream enterprises, professional media jointly witnessed this milestone moment.

In his opening speech, Deputy Mayor Han Jun mentioned that Zhoushan has obvious regional advantages and broad development prospects, and the 12GW high-efficiency heterojunction solar cell and module manufacturing project with a total investment of 11 billion yuan in 2021 has been landing in Zhoushan, which has brought new vitality to the local economic ecology and laid the foundation of Zhoushan's new energy industry. Taking today's unveiling ceremony as an opportunity, we hope that China Resources Power and Aikang Technology can accelerate the construction of manufacturing and clean energy projects in Zhoushan, and also hope that the territorial and municipal departments can take the initiative to take the initiative to think what the enterprises want.

"In order to achieve the goal of early production, early operation and early income of Winhitech Company, the project adopts the mode of construction and installation and commissioning, and the official operation of Winhitech will add wings for the overall 12GW project to take off", Zeng Qingzhi, chairman of Winhitech, introduced in his speech that since the company was established on December 21, 2021, Under the care and support of the Zhoushan Municipal Government and the High-tech Zone Management Committee, the construction of the first phase of the high-efficiency heterojunction 3GW cell +4GW module project began in July 2022, and on July 5, 2023, the first HJT module was officially offline, and the first HJT cell was successfully offline on August 22. Up to now, the company has the capacity of mass production of various modules and HJT cells.

Zhejiang Winhitech New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Winhitech") is a joint venture company jointly funded by China Resources Power Logistics (China) Co., Ltd. (Central enterprise, 0836.HK), Zhoushan Ocean Comprehensive Development and Investment Co., Ltd. (local state-owned enterprise) and Jiangsu Aikang Technology Co., Ltd. (listed company, 002610).
