Gathering Light and Gathering Momentum to Start the Journey Again ∣ WINHITECH at the 3rd N-Type High Efficiency Battery and Metallization Technology Conference
In order to further reduce the metallization cost of N-type batteries, improve battery efficiency and promote the sustainable development of the PV industry, the 3rd N-type High Efficiency Battery and Metallization Technology Conference was held on January 10, 2025 in Jiangsu-Wuxi. Jointly organized by PV Industry Research and Changzhou Photovoltaic Industry Association, the conference focused on the most cutting-edge technology in the industry and attracted the attention of many industry experts and scholars.WINHITECH Technology R&D Center, Zhang Chao, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech on the “Heterojunction 0BB Technology in Offshore Photovoltaic Power Station Development”, which demonstrated the company's profound research foundation and foresight in the field of HJT technology. The company demonstrated its profound research foundation and forward-looking exploration in the field of HJT technology.   With the rapid rise in installed demand for photovoltaic and the rapid popularization of N-type batteries, silver paste, a core consumable in the production of battery cells, its market demand has also shown a synchronous growth trend. However, the high cost and high consumption of silver paste has become a major bottleneck hindering the large-scale development of the N-type battery industry. In such a situation, how to accelerate the pace of less silver in the battery metallization process with the help of technological innovation, in order to achieve the goal of reducing costs and improving efficiency, has become a key issue that battery manufacturers need to break through.   In his speech, Mr. Zhang elaborated the advantages of HJT technology in the development of offshore photovoltaic power plant. He pointed out that HJT technology, with its excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency, low attenuation rate, high stability and excellent temperature adaptability, has become a key technology to enhance the power generation efficiency of offshore photovoltaic power stations and reduce operation and maintenance costs. Especially with the combination of 0BB technology, the photovoltaic conversion efficiency of HJT cells has been significantly improved, while the light loss has been reduced and the power generation performance of the cells has been enhanced.   Marine photovoltaic systems show great prospects for development due to their deployment potential in vast sea areas, policy support, and the increasing demand for electricity in coastal areas. However, the extreme conditions of high temperature, high humidity, high salt spray and strong winds in the marine environment place more stringent requirements on the performance and durability of PV equipment. In response to these environmental characteristics, Zhejiang WINHITECH New Energy Company has adopted a specialized design strategy. In terms of salt spray resistance, we recommend the use of aluminum frames with film thicknesses of AA15 to AA20; in terms of wind and wave resistance, we enhance stability by strengthening the structural design and equipping it with corresponding windproof bolts; in high humidity environments, we adopt junction boxes with IP68 protection level, and treat the terminals with dust plugs and cold-shrinkage tube technology. In addition, the denseness of the double-layer coated glass is also clearly required, and it is verified through testing that it can meet the special needs of marine applications. As a pioneer in the industrialization of heterojunction technology, Runhai Solar continues to focus on the production of heterojunction modules with heterojunction technology as the core. Currently, WINHITECH has supplied to a 100 MW offshore PV project in Daishan County, Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province.   Finally, Mr. Zhang Chao said that low-cost and high-efficiency HJT technology is not only a powerful driver of cost reduction and efficiency in the PV industry, but also a key to the large-scale application of offshore PV power plants in the future. He emphasized that WINHITECH will continue to increase R&D investment in the field of HJT technology, dedicated to solving the industry's pain points and promoting the commercialization of HJT technology. Heterogeneous Energy Gathering - The Ninth Roundtable Meeting of the Highly Efficient Heterogeneous Junction 740W+ Club Successfully Concluded

Mr. Zou Huilei, Minister of R&D of Bright Solar Module, brought the introduction of “0BB technology solution now production status report and research”, he introduced that Bright Solar currently adopts IFC direct lamination technology, and has passed the laboratory IEC standard reliability test and TÜV third-party agency testing and certification.
